Hi, I am a big fan of Tokyo Disney Resort, and a 3kids Mom.
And I’m living in Tokyo and going to Disney Resort many times a year!
I summarized the upcoming “Fantasy Springs” set to open in June 2024 in Tokyo DisneySea!
I will write about “What are new attractions?“, “How to get in Fantasy Springs?”, “Crowd Expectations for Fantasy Springs?”, and so on.
The situation may be changed depending on future developments before the opening, but I would like to summarize the information that is currently available!

When visiting the park, please make sure to double-check the information on the official website.

What is “Fantasy Springs”?

Fantasy Springs is a new area coming to Tokyo DisneySea.
I will summarize what the place is and where in Tokyo DisneySea it is located!
Where in Tokyo DisneySea?
Fantasy Springs is located farthest from the DisneySea entrance.

Although it is not marked on the map at the moment, it is built further behind “Lost River Delta”.
The entrance to Fantasy Springs will be located between “Lost River Delta” and “Arabian Coast”.
And also, you can enter from new hotel, Fantasy Springs Hotel.

How many minutes does it take from the entrance? How to go with the stroller?
If you do not have a reservation for Fantasy Springs Hotel, you can only enter through the DisneySea entrance.
DisneySea has Mediterranean Harbor and Prometheus Volcano in the middle of the park, so it takes quite a while to get to the Lost River Delta because you can’t cut through the middle.
From the entrance, head towards the Mediterranean Harbor on your right (where “Soaring: Fantastic Flight” is located), aiming for the Arabian Coast.
Along the way, there is a long staircase, and if you’re using a stroller, you’ll need to use the ramp.
This ramp is really long way.

It is unavoidable, but due to the low angle of the ramp for wheelchairs, you will need to detour several times.
To move without climbing stairs, you can use the “DisneySea Transit Steamer Line” located to the left under the stairs. This will take you all the way to the Lost River Delta.
Just be aware that “it may not operate depending on the time of day” and “destinations may vary” are important points to note!

The route from Mediterranean Harbor is mostly headed to Lost River Delta, but I recommend to ask cast members, “Where does it go?” before boarding!
If you head to the left towards Mediterranean Harbor (towards American Waterfront), you can take the “DisneySea Electric Railway” to get to “Port Discovery.“

Either way, there may be waiting times, so it can’t save time, but It is recommended for moving around with a stroller or small children.
Considering that it takes over 10 minutes for even adults to walk to Lost River Delta from the entrance,Fantasy Springs is even further away, I think it’s pretty far.
What attractions are Fantasy Springs in?
Fantasy Springs has 3 areas.
- Frozen Kingdom
- Peter Pan’s Never Land
- Rapunzel’s Forest
Let’s see what kind of attractions can be found in each area!
Area “Frozen Kingdom”
This area is inspired by the Kingdom of Arendelle that appears in the movie “Frozen.”

Attraction “Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey”
This attraction follows the storyline of the movie “Frozen.”
Since it is described as a “water flow ride type,” so I think it is likely to be a ride similar to “It’s a Small World”!
Restaurant
There will be 2 restaurants opened.
Two restaurants names are described only Japanese, but “Arendelle Royal Banquet” and “Oken’s Ok Food”.

“Arendelle Royal Banquet” can probably expect it to be a larger restaurant with indoor and terrace seating!
As for “Oken’s Ok Food”, it says “small food store”, so I expect it is a store with only a counter or a restaurant with only terrace seats.
Area “Peter Pan’s Never Land”
It’s an area inspired by “Neverland“, the setting from the movie “Peter Pan“.

Attraction “Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure”
In this attraction, you become a part of Peter Pan’s world and embark on an adventurous journey.
It’s a ride type attraction with wearing 3D glasses.
Speaking of attractions that wear 3D glasses, it’s “Toy Story Mania”, so I expect it is the same kind of attractions.

For children who cannot ride due to height restrictions, there is also a “Rider Switch Service,” so please consult the attraction’s cast members.
Attraction “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies”
In this attraction, you will help Tinkerbell deliver packages and parcels to various locations in Pixie Hollow.
And it is ride-type attraction and takes 2 minutes, so I expect it is for small kids.
Restaurant
This restaurant’s names is described only Japanese, but it is called “Lookout Cookout“.
This is a counter service restaurant, and I expect it to be a large indoor restaurant.
Rapunzel’s Forest

It’s an area inspired by the movie “Tangled“.

I want to dress my daughter in a Rapunzel dress!
Attraction “Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival”
In this attraction,
You ride on a romantic boat journey heading towards the annual Lantern Festival, where Rapunzel falls in love with Flynn Rider.
You can relive the “best day ever”.
Since it’s described as a “water flow ride type“, I think it’s also a type of attraction like ‘It’s a Small World!
Restaurant
This restaurant’s names is described only Japanese, but it is called “Snuggly Duckling“.

It’s described as having ‘various atmospheres dining areas,’ so I imagine it’s a somewhat spacious indoor restaurant!
Can I go to Fantasy Springs anytime?
You’re curious about how to enter Fantasy Springs!
Can anyone enter anytime?
I’ll summarize the current information!
Can we enter Fantasy Springs without any additional charge?
You need two things to enter Fantasy Springs!
- A Park ticket for Tokyo DisneySea
- A Standby Pass (available free of charge) or Disney Premier Access (available for a fee) for an eligible attraction.

It means you can enter without extra charge, but it might be hard way, I think.
The eligible attractions are the following 4.
- Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey
- Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival
- Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure
- Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies
Standby Pass will be required to experience “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies”.
What is “Standby Pass”?
This is a free service, and it allows you to line up for the designated attraction from the specified time.
Unlike FastPass or the 40th Anniversary Priority Pass, this is a “pass for lining up.”

It is unclear how many passes will be issued and how long the wait will be.
But, currently popular attractions can have waits 160-180 minutes.
What is “Disney Premier Access (available for a fee)“?
This is a paid service that allows you to specify the experience time and use attractions with short waiting times.
The eligible attractions are the following 3! All prices are 2,000 yen per access!
- Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey
- Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival
- Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure

I’m concerned that everything will sell out quite early.
You can obtain multiple Standby Passes and Disney Premier Access passes per day, but there are conditions.
Standby Pass:
① The start of the assigned time of the Standby Pass you have obtained. *1
② Two hours after obtaining your last Standby Pass
*1 As long as 60 minutes have passed since you last obtained a Standby Pass.
Disney Premier Access:
If you want to purchase another attraction, you can purchase it after 60 minutes from the time of purchase, or after the earlier of the start time of the purchased Disney Premier Access.

What are the benefits for Fantasy Springs Hotel guests?

There is a hotel built within Fantasy Springs.
This is located right in front of Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line.

It’s near the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, Okura Hotel, and Toy Story Hotel.
You can enter Fantasy Springs at any time if you stay in Fantasy Springs Hotel.
You can enter Fantasy Springs at any time by presenting your DisneySea park ticket and proof of stay at the Fantasy Springs Hotel.

However, please note that in order to use the attraction, you will need either the Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access just like other guests!
Tickets available to Fantasy Springs Hotel guests

There is a ticket called “1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic” that can be purchased by Fantasy Springs Hotel guests!
This ticket is ;
・Enjoy Tokyo DisneySea on your day of visit
・Enter Fantasy Springs anytime during the Park’s operating hours
・Enjoy attractions at Fantasy Springs without specifying a time in advance and with a reduced wait time
Price is following ;
Adult (Ages 18+) | 22,900 yen – 25,900 yen |
Junior (ages 12–17) | 21,600 yen – 24,000 yen |
Child (ages 4–11) | 19,700 yen – 20,600 yen |

Considering that a regular one-day ticket (adult) costs 7,900 yen – 10,900 yen, this is quite hight price.
But being able to ride the new Fantasy Springs attraction with a reduce wait time is really good.
Lastly
This time, I have put together information about the newly opened area at DisneySea, “Fantasy Springs“!
Fantasy Springs opens in June 2024!
I’m just curious about when we’ll be able to enter with just a DisneySea Park ticket.

It’s hard to say definitively how many Standby Passes will be issued since it’s unknown, but it’s certain that long wait times will occur.
Still, I’m very excited for the opening of the new area!
Until the end Thank you for reading.
If you have any questions, please send me a message from Inquiry.
